Peter and I arrived back in Vancouver on Saturday whereby I promptly started smothering the cats with attention. They don't seem sick of me yet though. Visiting the east coast is nice, but I sure do love home. I'm still operating on atlantic time somewhat... got up at 6:30am today. Very abnormal.
I've been catching up on my urban/planning internet reading and came across this little glimpse into a special town in Germany: Vauban is a new suburb with serious restrictions on cars.... resulting in a very different sort of place. Check it out (it's a photo slideshow, easy on the eyes).
