Peter and I met Sept of 1996, started hanging out the summer of 1997 (we weren't dating because I 'wasn't his type'), and figure our anniversary of when we started dating (i.e. Peter admitted we were dating) to be August of 1997. So this was probably the first year I went to spend Christmas with his family - which... 1998 seems early for that, but I'm old and my memory is going, so it could have been 98. In any case, I post this in memory of Peter's aunt, who passed away this month from cancer. She was a lovely person and always made me feel very welcome at their family Christmas celebrations.
