In the meantime - if anyone wants to spread word to their friends about our apartment sublet - here's the link to the ad: http://members.shaw.ca/WestEndSublet/
In random news - Chris Hadfield, whose name I know from way back in the day when I thought I wanted to be an astronaut (ha!), is on the space station and has been posting photos via twitter which has been very popular. He now has a sizeable twitter following and has made more people aware of the fact that there's a canadian in space than most other media efforts by the CSA, I imagine. Also, his photos are really neat. The key to good social media is having interesting content!
When procrastinating from more important things in my free time, I now search the internet for ballgowns to wear to the ball at the Imperial Palace in Vienna (Jan 2014, I'm planning ahead). These are the ones that I keep coming back to so far.

I would go for a dress you could possibly shorten after and wear again. The red one above is really nice.
that's a very good thought - should help me decide when the time comes (I have a pinterest board of about 38 dresses)!
I would imagine subletting will be difficult for April just as the students vacate and you will need someone fit enough to walk up the 3 flights. Do they happen to have a dumb waiter for people on the 3rd floor to get their groceries up there? Or are all the tenants fit 20 and 30 somethings?
I agree with Michelle on the red one. Dark colors stand out and look so much richer. Great idea to have the eye to shortening it later.
I just love your apartment! Wish I could sublet it from you and play with your kitties for a year! Hope you find the perfect person.
